Students no longer actually learn key subjects in school. Instead, they memorize for standardized tests and then forget soon afterwards.
Many states also rely on the results of these tests to determine a teachers salary. Teachers should not be punished for having at-risk students come up short on difficult tests.
Classrooms need to catch up to the technology of today and allow students to use interactive resources to further themselves and actually learn important skills and material.
Doing so will create numerous jobs for teachers and eventually reduce class size which will in turn provide better learning environments for our children.
