Eliminating the salary entirely for senators and congressmen and women will help with balancing the budget and encourage politicians who are in it for the money or preventing the Legislative branch from accomplishing what is necessary for the US Government from fulfilling their duties to leave their post. The elimination of the salary would allow for politicians who really want to make a positive change and who desire to be a servant leader for the people, be able to do so.
