Until the 2nd Amendment is eliminated or revised, tragedies will continue to plague the conscience of America. The 2nd is a fatal flaw in the Bill of Rights comparable to the 3/5 rule of the Consituion. Over 600,000 American died over that error. Laws regarding gun control have proven to be impotent. Israel and Switzerland have managed weapons access in responsible ways that we could emulate. It is clear that we need to formally resolve the problem through a new Amendment, or better, a new Constitional Convention to evaluate the 2nd and a number of issues that have caused division among Americans.
