eliminate the second amendment.

Created by J.J. on January 18, 2013

In 1776 our founding fathers imagined a new government on this earth, a new experiment to see if civilization really needed kings and emperors. While they did their best to think about all unforeseen challenges a democratic government might face, they could not possibly even imagine the conditions in which we, in modern America, find ourselves in now. The rules they set up as the most important, the Bill of Rights, were of utmost importance in their day. But we do not live in their day, and it is time to recognize such a fact. Too long have many died because of outdated "rights" that we are resistant to change. It is time to update our constitution, bring America to the forefront of modernity, catch up with the rest of the civilized world, and realize that we don't need guns anymore.
