Eliminate the self-gratifying seating in the Senate and House. Seat alphabetically to force cooperation.

Created by D.G. on September 26, 2011

Senate and House members sit in their respective places normally identified as their side of the aisle. This visible separation carries over to actual performance because the members reinforce security and commonality among each other. Needless to say, sides are well established not just by party but the actual seating of elected officials. As a result, the American people are not served. Instead members serve each other.
