It is ridiculous to think to give children or teenagers at any age, a test that can take them up to three or more hours. At a certain point during the test, although this is different for each student, they will lose focus, and be more concerned with finishing the test than actually trying. It is therefore smart to think of the possibility of eliminating standardized testing altogether, or shorten these tests.
Also, why are math and English the primary concerns? These are basic, and especially for older ages, I think we should keep a good balance of all, English, Science, Math, and History alike.
