Student debt is a huge burden to Americans that have been trying to pay back the loans for longer than 10 years. Free money grants are given to Students from across the border for many years and they never take on the burden of having to repay loans. Today, the students from other countries who were provided grants over 10 years ago have a slightly better quality of life than Americans who had to obtain loans for their education. This is unfair, unjust and it must be corrected. This petition is for the dismissal of all or part of student loans that are 10 years old or older. Saving for and investing this student loan payment for retirement is a much better deal for all hard working Americans.
