Eliminate subsidies for Oil companies
End all of the tax breaks and loopholes that have been written into the tax code, thanks to Big Oil lobbyists.
During a time when cutbacks are being debated for Medicare/Medicaid, and unemployment remains high, it is shameful to continue subsidies for Oil companies.
Oil companies are seeing massive profits, thanks in part to this injection of tax dollars, and have demonstrated that they are willing to risk lives and the environment, in order to boost profit.
