First: It's well past time citizens of the U.S. feel the pain of the undue tax burden placed upon them. Due to tax withholding, most citizens of the United States have no idea what they really pay.
Therefore: eliminate federal and state tax withholding, so that people will once again feel the sting of taxation.
Second: Currently, U.S. citizens' taxes are due on April 15. Move the day taxes are collected to the day prior to November elections.
Together, these two changes will once again remind citizens that it is OUR money funding the government, and perhaps we will hold our SERVANTS more accountable with this hard earned money.
