Eliminate teleprompters and other such deceptive devices.

Created by D.J. on February 05, 2013

Work towards the passage of a bill that would make it illegal for a politician to use a teleprompter, speech writer, or ghost writer. If a politician can't speak eloquently, intelligently, and effectively without such cheats then it should be made readily apparent. This would be far preferable to him being allowed to deceive the public into thinking he is more intelligent, informed, or capable than he is. If he can't come up with the ideas and words on his own then he shouldn't be allowed to steal them from others and pass them off as his own-that is mere plagiarism and is properly decried. This is not aimed in particular at anyone, just all politicians. We should be allowed to see who they really are to a much greater extent so our choices can be truly informed.
