Eliminate the time shifts caused by Daylight Savings Time

Created by E.J. on April 17, 2016

The bi-annual time change due to Daylight Savings Time has more adverse effects than benefits.

Though it was originally implemented to save energy, studies have now shown that the policy actual leads to an increase in energy usage.

The week after Daylight Savings Time begins, there is also a significant increase in heart attacks and traffic accidents.

The time change is not only a mild inconvenience, but it also disturbs the circadian rhythm and sleep cycle of the population. This, in turn, can create great dangers for our society.

Overall, Daylight Savings Time should be removed from practice, and America should remain in standard time throughout the entire year.
