Eliminate undue corporate influence in American elections.

Created by J.R. on September 28, 2011

As recent as 1980, Presidential candidates did not have to raise a dime to fund their campaigns; they were publicly financed by three dollar donations on income tax returns. Now, we're gearing up for the billion dollar presidential candidate and the multibillion dollar campaign cycle.

Citizens United is the permissive cause of undue corporate and third-party influence in American elections. The gross influx of cash that has persisted in its wake has created a green monster in politics that belies the justice and integrity of our elections and threatens to corrupt our elected officials.

Remind our politicians that they are elected at the behest of the people and must heed to the will of the same.

Abandon the notion that corporate money talks and ethics walks. End corporate personhood.
