I would like to put to motion a petition to eliminate all U.S. Tax paying citizens bills(as in debts) medical or other wise that are beyond one year old. What makes these collection companies think that they can harass people. It is unethical and extremely stressful. I also think that these collection calls should stop after 6 months.
This means from this date one year ago and backward, not fresh bills that are created from today and beyond. You can't just create a bill and say what the heck I'll won't pay it will just be eliminate it in a year. Nice try it would not work that way.
IE: a medical bill that was issued on 11/15/2011 would be eliminated. But the bills created 11/15/2012 in 2013 will not. This will give that citizen a clean slate to make their life better. And the economy.
