Exodus 20:7 "You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name."
The phrase "Oh my God" is everywhere. That much is known. But it is even in television that our children watch. Granted, it could be with a lower case 'g' but nonetheless it sounds as if it is taking the Lord's name in vain and it isn't right that a perfectly good, family friendly show should shout that phrase out. It takes some of the value out of the show.
The media is overpowering in America and getting stronger daily. It is time to stand up and say "No more" instead of tolerating this abuse to our ears.
