Eliminate welfare unless the receiver is elderly, disabled, or in any way unable to work.

Currently many of the welfare recipients are perfectly able to work. I believe that the money currently put into welfare/food stamps should be focused on creating jobs and forcing all able-bodied men and women who are currently receiving welfare to work. Nearly one trillion dollars ($1,000,000,000) are spent on welfare every year, and it is time to redirect this money into needed areas such as job creation.
