We, as a race of human beings, have been conditioned to accentuate our differences instead of realizing and embracing our commonalities. This conditioning is partly due to our incorrect referencing of the human condition. Referring to different cultures as actual separate races is not only ignorant, it's scientifically incorrect and completely inane! Also, it legitimizes those of us who believe their culture is superior to others. If we truly want to live in a diverse and prosperous nation, we must stop this unconscious denial of what we truly are... a race of human beings!
"You can never count to 2, starting at 3"
Based on this idiom alone, we can never truly affect so-called "Racism" in this country, if we the word we choose to describe it actually proliferates the phenomenon.
