I am petitioning on behalf of all of those who feel as though their vote does not truly count. People claim that every vote counts, however in states like California and North Dakota, your vote does not really count as much as it should. In states such as these, it is almost certain which party will receive the electoral votes. People will be more motivated to vote if they know that their vote is going straight to the candidate of their choosing. We live in a democracy, and in a democracy, every vote, no matter the state, should be of the same value.
