Since March 26, 2015, a coalition of nine Arab countries has conducted military operations against the Houthi armed group and carried out numerous indiscriminate and disproportionate airstrikes. These attacks have specifically targeted civilian events such as weddings, funeral, and parties and have resulted in over 10,000 deaths. The United States has signed off on selling the weapons used in the attacks to Saudi Arabia, including illegal cluster bombs. This petition asks the federal government to implore congress to cease all arms sales to Saudi Arabia and to call on North American businesses to stop supporting terrorism in the Middle East.
