We believe that for the economy to improve in the next two years at the least, bipartisanship is absolutely crucial, and we don’t believe that you or Congress have done enough towards that goal. Senator Reid prior to the election called the notion of Senate bipartisanship "laughable", and Senator McConnell and Representative Boehner have already participated in stubborn, partisan politics.
Now that you and the Democratic Party have retained control of the Presidency and Senate, we need to focus on economic issues. Ignore social issues for the time being, and prioritize economic solutions that are supported equally by both parties. Push Senator Reid and Speaker Boehner to work together, and avoid divisive executive orders and legislation in order to prevent alienation between parties.
