Employers are able to dodge providing access to health insurance by implementing a ''25 hour'' or similar rule to keep part time employees from qualifying for work sponsored or partially work funded health insurance under the law. This makes health care costs higher for their dedicated employees and keeps them from financial success. Workplaces should be required to provide this access after a 3 or 6 month grace period in order to insure proper health care both preventative and otherwise to their employees.
