It's time for We The People to serve as more than a place for people to vent their frustrations. It's time for Americans to get involved in the government that they have resigned themselves to complaining about instead of fixing. It's time to start getting things done in Washington that our elected officials refuse to do out of fear of losing votes. It's time to give the power back to the majority of the 300 million Americans instead of the 545 elected officials that have failed to act in the best interest of this country. The proposal is this: all registered voters have a voice and a vote. If We The People manage a majority vote through online petition or voting, then the people have spoken and THE VOTE PASSES. This would also usher in single term limits for congress. That vote will pass.
