Empower the FDA/CDC to accelerate the release of the ZMapp Ebola serum to African countries affected by the disease

Created by O.A. on August 07, 2014

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has tested the ZMapp Ebola serum on Dr. Brantly and Ms. Writebol, an American Doctor and Nurse who were infected by the disease. By all accounts, both have improved dramatically.

With the death toll in Africa at 900+, we petition President Obama to recognize this for the Humanitarian Disaster it is and do all in his power to expedite the provision of this Serum (and other experimental serums if possible) to African countries fighting this crisis.

The FDA and the CDC, in conjunction with the Commercial entity, Mapp Biopharmaceuticals, can speed up the delivery and manufacture of this serum, and on a humanitarian basis, we implore the President to position his significant power and authority behind this measure.
