empower NASA to land an American woman on the surface of the moon by 2019 and return her safely to the Earth.

Created by B.S. on September 25, 2011

America's technological strength must be bolstered by a robust space program. Our moon is the closest neighbor to Earth in space, and an obvious next step in space exploration. Yet almost fifty years after the first American landed on the moon, NASA is going through a restructuring that will take several years. At a time when our schoolchildren need something big to dream about, something worthy of inspiring a generation, let's take the next step together, by achieving another symbolic milestone: landing the first woman on the moon. This dream can be achieved in cooperation, not competition with our international partners. Let's unite the world, share the cost, and do something great.
