Empower the People to Control Congress's Salaries

As the members of Congress serve at the pleasure of the voting public, and since the members of Congress are paid with the taxes collected from the working public, we seek to amend the process by which the members of Congress may raise their salaries. We seek the introduction of legislation that would require Congress to put all potential pay-increases to a popular vote, no more frequently than once every two years, in the form of a ballot initiative during general midterm and presidential elections only.
