There are young people in the US that make bad decisions every day. Some of these young people have parents who are able to afford the necessary help needed to keep there teens from having a felony background. Some teens are unfortunate and have to settle with whatever charge is given to them. They become felons and it is a label that they have to carry at the beginning and end of their lives. Their job applications are thrown away or looked over and they dont get a chance. Just because you pulled up a stop sign (felony) or was 18 and had sex with your 17 year old girlfriend (felony) you shouldnt have to be labed a felon for the rest of your life. This has to stop so that people can have a productive life besides their minor mishap. We all need a second chance at something.
