Water quality problems are most common in three regions: the Midwest, Southwest, and Northeast. Industry pressure reduces the level of federal regulation and oversight.
Stop putting our health and lives at risk; fund the regulatory agencies, enforce laws and punish polluters appropriately. Allowing polluters to jeopardize our water is tantamount to legalized theft or murder, robbing us of our health, causing birth defects, neurological issues and liver damage, reducing our fertility and increasing our risks for cancer and increasing our health-care costs.
Shut the revolving door of industry to Government. Keep regulatory agencies out of politics. Regulate, create accountability and punish both regulators that do not enforce and industries that pollute!
