Enable immigrants who arrived under their parents care easier access to naturalization.

Created by K.B. on March 23, 2012

A person brought to this country as an infant, raised in our countries' school system, and whose parents are legally naturalized should not have to bare the same stigma as those that made their own decision to come to the country illegally. Even further, they should not be forced to meet a brick wall when making the effort to naturalize, themselves.

They may not have been born Americans, but if all they remember is being raised American, what is the difference? They shouldn't be forced to take up meaningless jobs, working 60 hours a week, for less than minimum wage, due simply to a technicality.

If it weren't for immigrants (and if some of these laws were in effect when our parents' parents made the trip) - none of us would be here to discuss this anyway.
