Enable More Doctors in the United States, By Raising the FSL Loan Limit to $250,000, to Allow More Students to Get Ph.D.

Created by J.S. on January 27, 2012

This petition would raise the Federal Student Loan FSL limit, from $140,000 currently, to $250,000 for 2012, to allow modernization of the FSL loan system, thereby creating an avenue for millions of prospective students to return to colleges and Universities, and continue their educational goals. This petition will help both educational institutions, which depend on the public for tuition, and tens of millions of adult students interested in improving themselves by getting a higher education, (androgogy). It will also help lenders, who need a way to refi and payoff old loans, as students continue with their educational goals for many years. Therefore, this is a very good petition, designed to modernize our FSL system and increase its loan limits.
