Enable over the counter birth control in America

I am calling upon americans to fight against the out-dated and impractical system of prescription birth control. Women across america rely on birth control as a basic health necesisity, not only for pregnancy prevention, but for intense menstrual pains which would otherwise interfere with their ability to live normal lives. Many health professionals agree that birth control is safe to be administered over the counter in comparison to tylenol and other common pain relivers. There is no justifiable reason to require a prescription in this day and age, and for women who cannot afford regular checkups, this birth control barrier is detremental to their health and safety.
