We the people of the United States of America are entitled under the Constitution to the process of democracy. We are being denied the process of democracy because Congress simply refuses to debate bills and hold fair votes. Currently our laws allow Senators and House Representatives to serve indefinite terms in office as long as they are elected to that office by the voter's of their respective states. This petition is to require all members of Congress to adhere to 2 to 4 year TERM LIMITS to insure fair and progressive representation of ALL United States citizens. TERM LIMITS will help politicians focus on the issues of the day rather than their next re-election. TERM LIMITS will slow lobbyists "contributions" because they won't be able to "buy" a politician long term. TERM LIMITS!
