Change will occur in the world when adults become serious about encouraging and empowering young people. Not only is it unjust that young adults and students are subject to the reforms of education policy makers without their opinions voiced, it is counterproductive. Many officials who hold high political standing have been far removed from school for years. It would be the most effective approach to ask those in school what the best methods of education would be. Students in the system know what does and doesn't work on a stronger personal level than most government workers. If the United States of America puts such great value on education and aiding in the growth of young minds there should be a higher concern and regard for the political input of those who attend school.
