enable veterans to use their GI Bill benefit to start a small business.

Created by J.P. on April 16, 2015

Enable greater transition opportunities for veterans by allowing them to borrow funds against the value of their GI Bill benefits in order to start small businesses.

We need to start a small business resurgence in America to re-ignite our economy. We believe that military service has "hard-wired" our veterans to succeed in small business, but what they lack is access to capital.

Currently, only half of our Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans are using their hard-earned GI Bill benefits to go to college. The other 46% are being left behind. The unemployment rate for Iraq and Afghanistan veterans is higher than the national average.

Please ask Congress to modify the GI Bill to allow veterans greater opportunities to become entrepreneurs and start small businesses.
