Wall St wishes to privatize their gains & socialize their losses. If Wall St wants to make a civilization-destroying mess, let them pay for it. When told you need to make do with less so Wall St can have more (aka "AUSTERITY"), tell the 1%: "Pay YOUR 1%!!"
The 1% Wall Street Tobin Tax (securities transfer tax or trading tax) would be on all financial transactions including derivatives (futures, options, indices, & OTC derivatives), stocks, bonds, foreign exchange, & commodities, especially program trading, high-frequency trading, & flash trading.
