On January 16, 1919, 28th President Woodrow Wilson ratified the 18th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution: Prohibition of Alcohol. This Amendment was repealed on December 5, 1933 by 32nd President Franklin Roosevelt. The next Amendment was the 22nd, which limits a President to serve no more than 8 years in office, either consecutively or non-consecutively.
To prevent the 22nd Amendment from being repealed so a President may serve however long he/she desires, I petition to have an Amendment ratified for such reasons.
28th Amendment: No act that may repeal or remove prior constitutional amendments, including a new amendment, may be enacted by any part of the Government, unless a threat to National Security requires to do so.
