Enact a 75% tax on political action committees (PACs) and similar organizations.

Created by D.M. on June 25, 2012

In responding to criticism of his bribery of the Montana legislature, William Clark is reported to have said, "I never bought a man who wasn't for sale." Fast-forward 100 years and it would seem we've forgotten the power of money to corrupt. SCOTUS has decided corporations and other entities can spend unlimited amounts of money to promote their political agenda or to get their candidate elected. We are already seeing unprecedented amounts of money pouring in to campaigns and as history has shown, this will have a corrupting effect on politics. I therefore implore Americans to support taxing these organizations and activities to the point they are no longer worth while pursuing, effectively blocking the SCOTUS decision through the power of the purse. Keep politics with the people.
