Career politicians on both sides of the aisle have created an atmosphere of distrust with the American people due to the perceived "politics as usual". Powerful politicians wielding considerable power have become separated from the lives of the everyday citizen.
Term limits will keep both the Senate and the Congress renewed with fresh thinkers and help to mitigate the consolidation of power in the hands of a few distanced individuals.
The pace with which our society develops and new changes occur requires the renewal of thoughts and ideas in our leadership we do not get from our officials that have served for decades mired down in long term self interest.
Fresh thinking, remove entrenched politicians playing party politics, improve government, renew the faith and trust of the people.
