Enact an age range to vote in Federal and State Elections

Created by V.G. on June 27, 2013

For the same reasons that the Twenty-sixth Amendment to the United States Constitution was enacted, protecting the rights of Citizens older than 18 to vote, there is a need for an Amendment to limit the maximum age to vote.

As Citizens reach old age, they become as vulnerable as minors to coercion and deception. This fact of live poses a danger ours country's security and democracy.

I propose and amendment that reads:
"The right of citizens of the United States, who are between eighteen and eighty years of age, to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of age."
