Enact *AND* ENFORCE legislation to prevent premature holiday decorating within the retail market

Created by J.R. on October 13, 2015

We The Undersigned of the United States are tired of the premature holiday decorating done by retail stores, that are, but not limited to: Walmart, K-Mart, Kohls, and more. We should be able to enjoy Halloween WITHOUT seeing Christmas trees spring up in early October, & Thanksgiving without hearing Christmas music. Legislation is obviously needed to control this. 5-6 weeks before the holiday is barely acceptable, but 2 months (or more) is not.

We are your constituents, & we are taking a stand. Any responses that are even remotely similar to “We have no comment” or “We do not control the retail market” IS UNACCEPTABLE! We have spoken, we charge you to take action, & not sweep this under the rug. We are tired of seeing early holiday decorations!
