Common sense tells us that no household, business, or entity could function long term with liabilities paid out which exceed income. The government is a business like any other with the exception that it does not manufacture goods. With debt skyrocketing and inflation just around the corner it should be imperative on behalf of the American people and their innocence in this matter that a balanced budget amendment be made. This amendment shall require that federal spending be less than or balanced with revenue every year and that no budget be proposed which does not faithfully uphold this rule.
