Enact a ban on the use of asteroids as weapons by the universe to harm the planet Earth and its citizens.

In light of the new evidence for Asteroid Apophis having a larger size and potentially threatening all life on planet Earth in the coming years, I would strongly encourage the Obama Administration and all legislators to work towards legislation that will develop our space exploration and defense programs to a level that will stop asteroid, comets, and any other NEO from harming the planet and life on it. This is important for more than the obvious reasons, and as we continue to deplete the natural resources of our planet and continue to do nothing to take steps to reduce violence and the use of any kind of weapon in violent crimes (stemming mostly from greed because of the elite global control that banks and other mega-corporations are guilty of), space safety becomes more important.
