The campaign finance system is broken. Action must be taken to reform the system and allow the average citizen to have as much say as a billionaire does. Currently, billionaires can give huge sums of money to Super PACs which causes candidates to be loyal to these super wealthy people rather than the average citizens. Publicly funded campaigns would eliminate this problem by giving each candidate a set amount of money. This levels the playing field and facilitates democracy in America.
