The American people DEMAND better representation. We want a law holding all politicians, candidates, policymakers, any other elected official to the platform they ran on. For instance president Obama stated during his 2008 campaign "I promise the first thing I will do if elected is to bring the troops home." This is a very powerful issue since lives are at stake. Many people may have voted for him based on this, only to be disappointed once again. There will be provisions for politicians to reasonably change their stance, Also it should be a legally binding contract so if they fail to uphold their platform they must resign or be terminated within a certain time-frame like 48 hours. Otherwise they will continue to say one thing then do another. God bless the USA!
