When it takes a BILLION dollars to get elected president there is too much influence from corporations and the wealthy. This is NOT the Corporate States of America! Our founding fathers made this a government of, by, and for, the people. This is no longer the case when corporations can give unlimited amounts, undisclosed, to a candidate for office. This is an invitation for corruption. CORPORATIONS ARE NOT PEOPLE! The people they employ already have a vote.
Please enact comprehensive election reform that will put a cap on the amount a candidate can spend on their campaign and restrict the amount an individual or group of individuals can contribute.
Give us back our government. We are the 99%.
