Enact comprehensive campaign finance reform.

Created by E.L. on January 24, 2013

In the wake of the 2012 election cycle it should be painfully clear that corporate money dominated the campaigns of both political parties; effectively circumventing the will of the people. Special interest lobbyists and political action committees (PAC's & super PACs) are responsible for politicians inability to make decisions that benefit the interests of the people over those of their largest campaign contributors, big business.
1. A constitutional amendment that bans political action committees (PAC's & super PAC's).
2. Allocates public funds for each candidate in order to have an equal amount of money that will be used to operate his or her campaign in its entirety.
3. Establish an oversight committee that monitors campaigns; ensuring designated funds are not exceeded.
