As the economy stumbles along and very little is done to cut spending or stimulate job creation, a thought occurs. It is simply this; We the People cannot afford to pay so much for men who unfortunately, have done little more than bicker and try to strip away what makes this nation magnificent, rather than help us reach our full potential as a nation. Therefore, I move that members of Congress shall from this day forward never be paid a dime more than their respective state's average. It seems like a good reminder of who they work for and what they should be doing.
