Enact The Congressional Reform Act of 2013

1. Congressman/woman collects a salary while in office and receives no tenure/pension benefits.
2. Congress participates in Social Security with all Americans. All Congressional retirement funds move to Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into Social Security system only.
3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plans, as all Americans do.
4. Congress will no longer vote themselves pay raises.
Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
5. Congress loses current health care and participates in same health care system as the American people.
6. Congress must equally abide by all enacted laws.
7. All contracts with past and present Congress members are void effective 1/1/13.
8. If there is a deficit of 3% of GDP, all Congress ineligible for reelection.
