1. No Tenure-No Pension. A member may serve three consecutive terms and collect salary only while in office.
2. All Members participate in Social Security. All Congressional retirement funds move to the Social Security system immediately. Social Security is never used for any other purpose.
3. Congress can purchase their own retirement instruments, as Americans do.
4. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
5. Members lose their current health care system and
participate in the same health care system as the American people.
6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.
7. All contracts, regardless of terms, with Congress members are void effective 1/1/13.
8. Budget deficits >3% of GDP render sitting members ineligible for re-election.
