Senate and House of Representatives members have proven time and time again that the long-term health of the Untied States, and the rights and liberties of its citizens, are not of primary concern. Congressional interests lie in the the hands of lobbyists and/or campaign donors while they focus on the next election, rather than constiuents. A two-term limit in the senate, and four-term limit in the House, is the first step in forcing Congress to focus on America, and not themselves.
