ENACT CONGRESSIONAL TERM LIMITS

Created by R.D. on February 12, 2013

It is becoming readily apparent that the 113th Congress will follow in the footsteps of the 112th and previous bodies in that the sole concern of the members is their own well being and not that of the country. As the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution imposed term limits on the Presidency, a similar amendment should be enacted as soon as possible which would limit congressional terms for Senators and Representatives to 12 years maximum.
