Enact an emergency ban on guns to remain in effect until Congress is able to negotiate and put into place a major reform in our current gun control laws.
Both our representatives in government and the lobbyists who influence them need a strong motivator to work quickly and effectively toward an acceptable agreement on gun control. We do not have time to watch our politicians take far too long to reach such an agreement. Our children need a stronger guarantee of basic personal safety from our government.
